The day starting out with a vibrant colourful sunrise and ended with a gloomy drizzle, an almost appropriate ending to my bitter sweet trip to Alaska. The scenery was lush with fall colours but subdued by an overcast sky. It is with great eagerness I look forward to the homeward journey and return to the comforts of home. We will be briefly returning to Alaska to catch the ferry to Prince Rupert BC, however  the Alaska part of the trip has all but ended and we now focus on the homeward journey. 

Destruction Bay - be careful this town is huge, blink an eye and you will miss it!!!
