The windy weather from the Sunday August 8th nearly ripped the roof air conditioner cover off the AC unit. The area around the bolts was cracked up pretty bad... a little duct tape and some metal strap iron and the cover should last until we get back home... :-)

  The cracked anchor points in the front actually allowed the cover to lift up and bend the fan cover inside the unit, thus causing the fan to rub and make a terrible noise. The noise was what tipped us off that something was wrong!!! :-)

The repaired AC cover... The strap iron will disperse the wind forces across more of the AC cover thus holding the cover down... :-) well that was the theory... does anyone want me to work on the space shuttle?
